Bugatti Bolide – Simply amazing!
The French luxury car manufacturer unveils a track-only hypercar with a W16 engine. The 1,850 hp Bugatti Bolide goes from 0 to 100 in 2.17 seconds, exceeding 500 km/h.
This vehicle, presented in 2020 as an experimental study, shows what a Bugatti thought exclusively to circulate on speed circuits would be like. Bugatti in turn confirmed that the Bolide would reach the production line, with a limit of 40 units worldwide.

Technical data of the Bugatti Bolide
Weighing just 1,240kg dry, which is the weight of a typical utility vehicle, the Bugatti Bolide makes for an extremely light track car.
They explain in Bugatti, that its body reduced to the maximum power but with a superior aerodynamic load, help to make its weight ultralight. It sits on an ultra-light and stiff carbon fiber monocoque chassis, a component that is also used at the front end and underbody. They affirm in Bugatti, that the resistance to the tensile strength of the carbon fiber used, is only comparable to that used by the aerospace industry.
This vehicle is inspired by the 24 hours of Le Mans, creating a very short and low look. It measures only 995 mm high and its doors open upwards.
It’s powered by the automaker’s 8.0-book W16 engine. The engine generates 1,824 hp and 1,364 lb-ft (1,850 Nm) of torque, figures that become more exceptional considering the light weight of the vehicle.
When it was conceived as a concept, Bugatti said it could reach 100 km/h in 2.17 seconds, 200 km/h in 4.36 seconds, 300 km/h in 7.37 seconds, 400 km/h in 12, 08 seconds and the incredible 500 km/h in 20.16 seconds. With these measurements, he has stated that in theory you could go around the Nurburgring Nords in just 5:23.1 minutes.
The first models of this extraordinary Bugatti Bolide are expected to reach customers in 2024.
