Copzilla – The fearsome police car

Nissan y NISMO debuted the Nissan GT-R Track Edition at the 2017 New York Auto Show, bearing the Copzilla moniker. NISMO has been in charge of making this exterior, where its front bumper draws so much attention, as well as its impressive rear spoiler.

Without a doubt, it is a model that you would never want to be after you if you were to run away!

Discovering Copzilla

This tremendous vehicle with 22-inch armored rims and spikes introduces modifications to the suspensions, lowering its height from the ground. It is a Nissan GT-R motor with a 3.8 V6 Twin-Turbo engine with 570 hp and 635 Nm of torque. This facilitates a passage from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of approximately 315 km/h.

We don’t know if we will see Copzilla patrolling the streets… Although it may seem crazy, some countries like Dubai, Qatar or Abu Dhabi have impressive cars destined for the police force. Will we see Copzilla patrolling in any of these countries?

The Nissan GT-R of the Japanese police

Although it is not the Copzilla, it was incorporated into the patrol fleet of a small town in Tokyo, this impressive Nissan GT-R.

On this occasion it was not Nissan that made the donation, but a citizen of the Tochigi locality, who decided to donate it so that the local police could make better use of it and thus contribute to the local police services.

To welcome him, a presentation event was organized that included the local authorities, as well as the media.
