Farnova Othello, the spectacular Chinese electric hypercar

Although at the moment it is only a project, the Chinese firm Farnova Automotive, which you probably have not heard of and if you have, it will be because you are a fan of the engine, has broken into the segment of electric hypercars.

The founder of Farnova Automotive, Guo Gelin, became a wealthy man thanks to his yacht business. This firm is a newly formed subdivision of Farnova Yachts.

Farnova Othello has two electric motors that develop 1,835 hp and 12,000 Nm of torque.

Farnova assures that this hypercar will reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 1.8 seconds, and that it will go from 0 to 300 km/h in 8.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 420 km/h. This speed is hard to believe, so we will have to wait for this car to go from being a project to a reality and we can check these measurements.

The wheels it will use will have 225/30 XR21 tires at the rear and 255/35 ZR20 at the front.

The exclusivity of the Farnova Othello

This hypercar will be very exclusive, having a limited production of 200 units with an approximate price of 250,000 euros. This price does not seem expensive to us for such an exclusive vehicle that we treat.

The automaker decided to name the car after Shakespeare’s famous story of Othello. The Othello will feature a chassis from the Qiantu K50 sports car. Precisely the manufacturer shares a partnership with Qiantu Motors. This electric sports car also comes from China and was exhibited in 2018.

The aerodynamics are really impressive, with its huge rear spoiler, which would also work as an air brake. Also on the roof would have another speed brake.

Its battery pack will have a capacity of 75 kWh and will come from the Swedish company Northvolt.

According to plans by the Chinese manufacturer, in 2023 this hyper sports car would go on the market as well as a line of SUVs, crossovers and electric sedans.
