The smallest fire Truck in the world
Today we discover the smallest fire truck in the world. This is the Rapid Responder Arcimoto. With this vehicle, firefighters can reach any place at full speed. There are no more problems if the street is rough, or if it is uneven terrain, because this vehicle will arrive safely.
Arcimoto Rapid Responder, from fun utility to fire truck
It is an electric tricycle used in pilot programs in Oregon and California, United States. The respective Fire Departments will use it to reach emergencies more quickly. Equipped with a fire extinguisher and a large first aid kit, it promises to save lives.
“A small size for two passengers, and maneuverability will allow access to congested urban centers during emergencies, further reducing carbon emissions and fuel costs,” said Mark Frohnmayer, CEO of Arcimoto.
In 2018 Arcimoto received an investment of US$4.5 million to increase the production of its FUV electric trike during 2019.
This great little vehicle can reach speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour. It uses lithium ion batteries and fully charges in eight hours. It has a 120 volt charger, although you can use the 240 volt charger reducing its charge to four hours.
Initially it was designed for lifeguards and currently this new FUV EV maneuvers more quickly, and can be used by Fire Departments.
Equipped with a rear cargo area, roof rack where security officers can store their equipment. It carries a 360 degree light and standard light bars and sirens to make sure people hear them since as we all know electric vehicles are quiet.
